Spirit on display at ‘Meet the Eagles’

KAY and T-club hosted Meet the Eagles in the TCHS commons area on August 23.

The purpose of Meet the Eagles was to provide information about organizations and fall sports, to introduce team members and the organization’s cabinet members, to allow students to sign up for clubs and pay dues, and to offer information about the newly formed TCHS Booster Club.

The event began with the hog dog feed, complete with chips and a beverage, provided by T-club and served by KAY, followed by a program in the auditorium.

Athletes also had pictures taken for sprit buttons, worn by parents and supporters at games.

Karen Flax, KAY sponsor, commented about the importance of Meet the Eagles, an event that helps foster school pride.

“It is important to see how involved the students really are.”
