Trego wrestlers have final two duals at home

The TCHS wrestling team had their last two home duals on February 9 and 10.

Friday night was also Pack-it-Purple and Senior Night. Before the meet, some of the basketball boys performed with the dance team.  Next, the senior wrestlers, John Kuhn, Tanner Lowry, and Trevor DePriest, gave roses to their parents.  Bryn Hafliger, the wrestling manager, also participated.

After the celebrations, the TCHS wrestlers competed against Atwood-Rawlins County.

Two wrestlers pinned their opponents: Tanner Lowry and Dillon Dunn.

John Kuhn, Hunter Folsom and Brady Mattke all had forfeits.

During the exhibition round, Colby Burkhart won by fall over Ryan Wolters and Parker Opat won by fall over Harrison Colgan

Other wrestlers who attended were Blake Spencer and Jory Micek.

The evening before, the team faced-off against the Ellis Railers.

Three Trego wrestlers pinned their Ellis opponents: Trevor DePriest won by fall over Cole Swenson, Tanner Lowry won by fall over Josh Smith, and Brady Mattke won by fall over Ben Wallace.

John Kuhn, Jory Micek, Hunter Folsom and Dillon Dunn all had forfeits.

The other wrestler who attended was Blake Spencer.
