On Saturday, September 9, the TCHS volleyball team participated in a home tournament.

In their first game against the Oakley Plainsmen, TCHS competed very well, taking 25 points to Oakley’s 11. Though the second match was closer, with a score of 25-23, the Eagles still received a win.

Next, Trego played the Wallace County Wildcats. The Eagles played hard and won both games; for the first game, the score was a close 25-23. In the final game, TCHS again triumphed over the Wildcats with a score of 25-22, and they won the match.

The Eagles then played the Russell Broncos. Once again winning their match, the Trego girls defeated Russell 25-20 in the first game and dominated in the last game with a score of 25-11. All of these wins ranked TCHS as number one in their pool.

Going on to the championship semifinals, Trego had a tough match against Northern Valley. They worked hard, and the first game came out as a close 25-27. They couldn’t quite make a comeback during the second game, taking a score of 22-25.
