Trego volleyball struggles at Plainville

The Trego Eagles volleyball team faced tough competition at Plainville on September 6.

The Eagles unfortunately fell to Smith Center in their first match of the night. In the first set, Trego came up short with a score of 21-25. They lost steam as well in the second set with a score of 13-25.

Trego faced Plainville in their second set, but the Cardinals showed no mercy. In both sets, Trego fell to Plainville with a first set score of 13-25 and a second set score of 12-25.

In the last match of the night for the Eagles, they regained confidence but still strayed from the win against Norton. In the first set, the girls were just edged out with a score of 23-25. The second set was also a loss for Trego with an ending score of 17-25.

The team, determined for a win, will play at home on September 13.
