On Tuesday, September 19, the Trego volleyball team traveled to Ellis for two games.

First, the Golden Eagles faced Ellis and won the first match, 23-18. The second was not as successful for the Eagles as they fell 18-25 to Ellis. The tie-breaker match ended with the same result as the second with Ellis coming out on top, 18-25.

Then the Lady Eagles faced Plainville. Both matches were a loss for the Eagles with the first ending in a close score, 23-25. The Eagles held on but not enough as they lost the second match, 21-25.

Senior Emma Anderson weighed in on the Eagles’ losses.

“We really got down on ourselves, and we could not get back up.”

The Eagles hope to improve when they next play at home on Tuesday, September 26.
