Lady Eagle volleyball takes two wins

The TCHS volleyball team played Victoria and Lacrosse in the two matches played on August 25.

The first set was won against Victoria with a score of 25-16. The second set yielded the same score and a second win for the Lady Eagles. The match with Victoria hailed a standing of 2-0 for the volleyball team.

The second match also produced two victories. Battling Lacrosse, the first set was won 25-19. In the second set, the score was nearly the same at 25-18 leading the TCHS volleyball team to another 2-0 streak.

Player Bailey Mattke commented on the night’s events.

“We have prepared basically all summer and the beginning of the season for our first game. We all played very well and enjoyed the games.”

Team member Janae Huxman also weighed in on the matches.

“We have good communication and all play very well together. Team unity is our strong point.”

The Lady Eagles’ volleyball team will next compete at TMP on August 29.
