Trego sweeps the quad

The Trego Lady Eagles had a resounding victory at their home quad on October 9, defeating Golden Plains 2-0, Dighton 2-0, and Wheatland-Grinnell 2-1.

For their first match, which was against Golden Plains, the Lady Eagles had a close victory in their first set, winning 26-24. They then came back with a dominating victory in their next set, 25-13. In their second match, the Lady Eagles defeated Dighton with a score of 25-15 in their first set, and 25-8 in their second set. For their final match, playing against Wheatland-Grinnell, the Lady Eagles lost their first set with a close score of 22-25; however, they came back and won their second and third set with a score of 25-14 and 25-18.

The quad on October 9 was also the last home game and Senior Night for the Lady Eagles Volleyball team as well. Seniors Adrianne Carr, Brenna Flax, and Jenna Howard were honored for being on the team for four years.

The Trego Lady Eagles will play once again on October 11-13 at the MCL Tournament in Smith Center.
