Lady Eagles fall against Stockton

In their home game against the Stockton Tigers on February 7, the Lady Eagle basketball team struggled, and the game ended with the score 31-71.

Only taking two points in the first quarter, the Eagles couldn’t keep up with Stockton, who scored 11 points. Though Trego themselves took 11 points in the next quarter, Stockton scored 27, and the halftime score was 13-38.

Performing better in the third quarter, the Eagles took 12 points to the Tigers’ 21. The score after the quarter was 25-59. Trego made six points in the final quarter while Stockton made 12. The final score was 31-71.

Janae Huxman scored the most points for the Eagles with 12 points. She was followed by Libby Frost, who scored 10 points. Making an impressive 15 rebounds, Libby Frost led in rebounding, followed by Gracie Pfannenstiel, who made four.
