The TCHS Lady Eagles basketball team traveled to Stockton and overtook the Tigers in a “nail-biting” game on February 6.

The first quarter didn’t look promising for the Eagles. Trego managed to put up nine points, but Stockton slipped ahead with 16 points. The Eagles did, however, score more points than the opposing Tigers in the second quarter. They scored 13 points to Stockton’s 11 points. The Tigers maintained their lead against Trego though. The scoreboard read 22-27 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Eagles started to close the gap with a score of 33-36. Trego pushed hard and passed the Tigers, which made for an exciting last few minutes of the night. The final score at the end of the night was 49-43.

Gracie Pfannenstiel and Lili Shubert both tied for the most points scored with 15 each.
