TCHS plays first round in sub-state

The Lady Eagles faced Ellis in their first game of sub-state on February 26 and were victorious.

Starting the game off strong, Trego outscored Ellis 6-4. Determined to stay ahead during the second quarter, the Eagles scored 20 points to the Railers’ 9. The score at half was 26-13.

The Lady Eagles had a rocky start to the second half getting outscored 9-13. Trying to stay ahead, Trego put up 15 points; however, Ellis scored 16. The final score of the game was 50-42.

However, the boys’ team had to face the 11-6 St. Francis Indians on the Indians’ home court on February 27.  The Eagles fell to the Indians, 39-69, putting an end to the Eagles’ season.
