Lady Eagles dominate the Panthers at home

Janae Huxman, senior player, noted that the Lady Eagles came out and played well in the first half. “We have struggled with starting strong this season, and having a good first half helped us defeat Phillipsburg.” In fact Trego had 33 points to Phillipsburg’s 15 by the half.

The Lady Eagles came out for the second half ready to finish the game strong. By the end of the 3rd quarter the score was 47-25. Without giving up the Eagles gained 8 points while the Panthers scored 3 points finishing with a score of 55-28.

The Lady Eagles’ play their next home game on February 12 against Western Plains/Healy with JV girls and Varsity boys playing. On February 13 Trego will be facing off against Ellis at home.
