On Tuesday, January 31, The Trego Lady Eagles traveled to Philipsburg after a long and hard day of practice from the game before.

In the first two quarters of the game, the Panthers were in the lead. The Lady Eagles seemed to lack focus: they kept turning the ball over and missed a couple of shots. However, they did not give up. They held their heads high and gave it their all.

In the third quarter of the game, the Lady Eagles showed their determination and mental readiness to finish the game in their favor by being physical and taking good care of the ball. The shots they previously missed didn’t stop them from shooting again, and making it this time.

The fourth quarter got intense as the score was 43-43. The crowds were fired up as the game got to the last five seconds on the clock. With an amazing hook shot, Lili Shubert put the Eagles in the lead by two points, making the final score of the game 45-43.
