TCHS girls’ basketball barely falls to Hill City

The TCHS girls’ basketball team fought hard on Friday, January 26, but still fell short against Hill City.

In the first quarter, the Eagles scored a mere two points to Hill City’s 12. In the second quarter, TCHS came back hard with 11 points, but Hill City still outscored them with 16 points. In the third quarter, however, Trego achieved nine points to Hill City’s 6. Outscoring them once more, the Eagles made nine points to the Ringneck’s six. In the end, the Lady Eagles lost to Hill City 32-40.

Lili Shubert was the team’s high scorer with 18 points.
