On Friday, January 25, Trego Lady Eagles took yet another win, beating Hill City 57-25.

They were focused right from the beginning of the game and determined to make the match go in their favor, with a score of 11-8 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, they asserted their dominance with an outstanding score of 18-4. Taking all the rebounds and charging to the basket, in the third quarter they came out with the score of 22-6. With tiredness overtaking the Lady Eagles, the fourth quarter individual score came out in Hills City’s favor, but only by one point more, as 6-7.

The person with the most individual scores of the night was Libby Frost, 11, with a score of 14. In second place, with one less shot, came Lily Shubert with a score of 13 points.

The girls are determined to take the next game by a storm,  as they did with this one. Come and support the Lady Eagles basketball team on January 29, at 6pm, at Trego Community High School.
