The Lady Eagles basketball team had a rough night at Thomas More Prep on Tuesday, January 10.

The first half of the game was a brutal battle for the Eagles. While the eagles fought hard diving for loose balls and battling for rebounds, they struggled scoring against the Monarchs.  The score at the half was 21-47.

The second half was a repeat of the first. The Lady Eagles worked together to stay in the game after losing point guard Gracie Pfannenstiel in the fourth quarter due to a head injury. The final score of the game was 35-82.

Top scorer of the game was Senior Emily Buchholz with ten points. Adell Riedel scored eight points and led the team with six rebounds.
