The third quarter proved just as profitable with the Eagles scoring 12 points over the Hornet’s 10. Trego scored 18 points in the final quarter when Dighton only scored 13. The Lady Eagles triumphed with a final score of 48-32.

Tillie Malinowsky commented on playing in her very first high school basketball game:

“At first I was quite nervous, [but when] things got going, the [nerves went] away and I just played basketball like I know how.”

Malinowsky also stated, “The team [played] really good defense.”

Sophomore Libby Frost was the high scorer with 14 points. The next two highest were freshmen Lili Shubert and Tillie Malinowsky who both scored 9 points.

The Eagles will next play at home on Tuesday, December 5, at the Purple and Gold Tournament. Come support your Trego Eagles!
