Trego football faces tough competition

On Friday, September 22, the Eagle football team made the long trip to Wallace County. The Wildcats proved to be a very tough team, and the final score was 14-42.

During the first quarter, Trego struggled, taking zero points to Wallace County’s 14. The next quarter produced the same number of points for each team, and the score at half time was 0-28.

The third quarter witnessed no improvement for the Eagles, with the Wildcats once again taking 14 points and Trego taking zero. However, TCHS broke through in the fourth quarter and scored 14 points to Wallace County’s 14. The final score was 14-42.

Hunter Price was the top scorer for TCHS as he made both touchdowns.

The Eagles will play next at Hill City on September 29.
