Trego football takes another win

On September 9, Trego Eagle football came back victorious from the long trip to South Gray, outscoring the South Gray Rebels 24-20.

In the first quarter, Trego took an early lead scoring 16 points while South Gray’s score remained at zero. However, the Eagles struggled in the second quarter, scoring zero points to the Rebel’s six, ending the first half with a score of 16-6.

Coming back hard in the third quarter, Trego scored 8 points while South Gray only scored 6. Though the Eagles didn’t score in the fourth quarter and the Rebels took eight points, Trego still outscored South Gray with a final score of 24-20.

The Eagles will next play at Quinter on September 16.
