Trego faces Stockton for their third encounter

On Tuesday, February 6, Trego’s boys’ basketball team headed to Stockton for the third and final time.

The Eagles started the first quarter strong with two- three point shots in the first few minutes. However, they did not have the top score at the end of the quarter. The score read Eagles 12, Stockton 14.

In the second quarter, the Eagles could not hold the Tigers. The Eagles gained seven points. The Tigers scored 10. The Eagles ended the half with a five point deficit.

The Eagles came out strong in the second half, but the opposition fought harder. Stockton outscored Trego 19-11.

The Eagles had one more quarter to make it up, but the Tigers yet again outscored the Eagles 7-10. At the end of the game, the final score was 53-37 in Stockton’s favor.

Leading in scoring, Kobi Shubert scored 14 points followed by Hunter Olson with 7.

The Eagles will next play at home against Western Plains on February 12.
