On February 2, the Trego Eagles hosted the 15-1 Phillipsburg Panthers. In the first quarter, the Panthers gained the lead early, scoring 9-24. The second quarter was not in favor of the Eagles either, with a score of 17-41.

After halftime, Phillipsburg outscored Trego in the third quarter, 20-55. Unfortunately, the Eagles fell short in the fourth quarter. The final score was 26-63.

Kinderknecht admitted, “We didn’t shoot well but that was mainly due to Phillipsburg. They have a stellar defense.”

Carter Minson led the team in scoring, with six points. Nathaniel Werth led the team in rebounds, with a total of three.
