Painful loss for Trego boys

In their home basketball game against Oberlin on December 15, the Trego Eagle boys’ basketball team's skills were tested and they lost in a tight game, 33-34.

In the first quarter, the Eagles were behind one, 8-9. They worked their way up in the second quarter, with a tie, 16-16.

At the end of the third quarter, Trego trailed 21-24. The Eagles fought more in the fourth quarter, and Oberlin took ten points while Trego took twelve points. The Eagles led in the fourth quarter, but in the last seconds of the game, Oberlin put up two points. The clock ran out on the Eagles before they could score.

Carter Minson led the team’s scoring with 12 points, followed by Kobi Shubert with nine points.
