The Eagles played against Oakley on December 12. The final score was 39-43.

The first half was close with the ending score being 19-19. The second half was a hard struggle for the boys’ team, but they lost by a meager four points.

Keagan Shubert was the top scorer of the team with twelve overall points scored.

Coach Dreiling weighed in on the game.

“I am proud of the guys for fighting their way back into the game in the fourth quarter to give ourselves a chance. We executed the game plan pretty well defensively but turned the ball over to Oakley too many times in the second half. We have to be stronger with the ball and have the confidence to attack the rim. Oakley made more winning plays down the stretch and was the tougher team that night.”
