Student Council attends Regional Conference

Student Council members attended Regional Conference at Quinter on September 2.

Both the junior high and high school Stuco members, accompanied by sponsors Carrie Fose and Nora Schoenthaler, attended the conference.

First students met with other students from around the area to share ideas.

Next, a speaker presented information about leadership traits and roles. Following the presentation students made posters describing qualities they desire for their school this year.

Stuco assists with Blood Drive

Twenty Student Council members assisted with the American Red Cross Blood Drive at the 4-H building at the fairgrounds on November 4.

Students participating in the service project filled the roles of admissions table workers, escorts, canteen workers, sandwich makers and set up and tear down crew.  Students also volunteered to bring cookies.   

Orange drink and cups were donated by McDonalds.

A total of 69 people gave blood; 16 of those were TCHS students.
