FCA started the week by hanging up posters with kind quotes all over the school. They also made a kindness wall where people could write random acts of kindness for other students to do then cross of when the act was completed.
On Tuesday students came to school early to “chalk attack” the sidewalk of the high school with kind words and uplifting quotes. Students also stuck sticky notes with words of encouragement on all the lockers.
Thursday morning members made an appreciation breakfast for the staff. They also made thank you cards for the staff to thank the staff for everything they do for TCHS.

On January 26, eight FCA members got the privilege to travel to Salina to attend the Harlem Globetrotters.
FCA members have attended the event in the past and had an enjoyable time. As a result, the group decided to return. They departed after school and arrived at their destination a little before seven. The event was full of laughs and excitement.
The Globetrotters brought audience members down during halftime, leaving the crowd laughing. The second half was nothing short of entertaining. The FCA group was right in the splash zone as the Globetrotters threw cups of water at the audience. The event meant a late night for the members, but everyone thought it was worth it.
When asked what she enjoyed about the Globetrotters, freshmen Hannah Kinderknecht commented, “They were really funny and the girl [player] was good.”
